Every February, across the country, flowers, candy, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. We want to know who is this mysterious saint is and why do we celebrate his holiday. Well St. Valentine actually sent the first “valentine” greeting himself. While he was sent in prison because of an outrages accident, it was believed that Valentine had fell in love with a girl, who may have been his jailors daughter, and who visited him in his confinement. Before his death, it is alleged that Valentine had wrote a letter to the girl, witch was signed “From Your Valentine”, a saying that is still in use during Valentines Day. With the achievements and accomplishments that St. Valentines had successfully achieved it is true that he had surly brought happiness and love with a romantic touch to the world.

My Opinion on Valentines Day
To me I think that Valentines Day is not about the candies, roses, chocolate, and dinners. Valentines Day is all about LOVE. Love for your families, friends, girlfriends, and boyfriends, but most of all love to EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. Whether their Asians Africans Americans Middle Eastern or even Europeans. EVERYONE should be treated like one another and NO ONE should be treated differently. Keeping that in mind I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY VALINTINES DAY.
