Dear miss Johnson,It is funny how you allow yourself to try an lecture a man like Mr.Barzani about democracy and what is right for Kurdistan. Where were all you "know it all" people in our hour of need,before Halabja,bofore the killing of 280.000 kurds in the Al Anfal campaigns.Last week the Iranian state hanged 5 Kurdish journalist but nobody seems to care about that.
If I were you I would try to shed some light on the terror and oppression that is being endured by the occupied Irish people in the north of their island.

An open letter from PCS to Barzani

Dear President Barzani

I am writing to you on behalf of the PCS CLG(HQ) London Branch. We were shocked and saddened to hear about the murder of Sardasht Othman a 23 year old student and journalist. Sardasht was kidnapped on his way to college by two men in a car with darkened windows last week. We understand Serdasht‌s body was found two days after the kidnapping covered in bruises. The branch has watched the development of Government in Iraq and Kurdistan since the fall of Saddam Hussein with interest. If Kurdistan is to become a democratic state it is vital that terror is not allowed to rule the streets. We ask that the Kurdish Regional Government to investigate this dreadful murder and bring the perpetrators of this dreadful murder to justice.

Freedom of the press and the right for all people to express their views openly is one of the most important traits of any democratic state. We therefore fully support the demands of the International Federation of Iraq Refugees demonstration of 6 May outside the KRG building in London for freedom of expression and freedom of the press in Kurdistan.
